i have a shuttle ak31 v3.1 mobo 233mhz fsb athlon xp 2400+ 2Ghz processo
768MB DDR PC2100 RA

i would once in awhile have problems with a system restart once in awhile. my friend burned out my processor by doing an ollie on his skateboard. i bought a new processor, which worked (thank god). but now i am have probs with running certain operations on the PC like running starcraft (a game) or just doing things using windows explorer. my computer will unexpectedly restart... usually telling me that it's a device_IRQ error or a page fault, or pnf list corrupt. also, used to have a prob with the VIA ide chipset but i installed it. i never was able to fix my multimedia codes or video codecs under the device manager. it says that it can't find the updates for it... should i just disable them? my comp seems to work fine w/out them except for the restarting. if anyone can tell me how to make it so my comp doesn't restart anymore, contact me, thank
