After installing MS Antispyware, I am recieving the
following error: Unexpected error; quitting when opening
the program. This only happens in 2 of my 3 different
profiles. It works fine on one but the other 2 get the
error when it tries to autoload the program at startup or
when I try and run it manually. I have tried a XP
reinstall and tried disabling everything at startup but to
no avail. The system is totally clean of viruses and
spyware and I am at a loss as to what to do. Thank you in
advance.

Are you logged on to that machines as an limited user? Microsoft AntiSpyware
only works under limited accounts in beta 1.

K... tried the reinstall and it finishes but when it tried
to load the auto protect it throws up the same error. And
yet it still works fine on the one account. Thanks for
your help.

You can repair Windows AntiSpyware using Add or Remove Programs in Control
Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and then
click Update.

If that does not work, I recommend you uninstall it and try again when beta
2 of MSAS arrives.
