Undo a second Outlook install which blocks my original files, etc.

I seem to have inadvertantly loaded a second copy of Outlook on top of my
year-old version. I now cannot access my customized files, contacts, etc. I
know the data is still there, but I cannot get to it. Even my own email
addresses need to be reloaded. Surely there is a way to retrieve this data.
Help!
