Undetected by MS Anti SW

I have installed the Beta. Works great. Improved my speed
on the PC. I do find that it is like deoderant, you have
to apply it every day.

However, there are still suspects listed in the task
manager:
deskadkeep
admankeep
gcaserve
gcasdtserve
deskadserve

Any one got a clue why MS is not detecting these? or how
to remove them?
 
Opinions differ.

Have you checked add or remove programs to see whether this is listed
there--one reference to removing it states that it is.

substituting admankeep for admilla.

I'd be quite cautious about this, but you can look and see whether the
information matches what you see on your machine.

I believe the two items in your list starting with gc are actually services
associated with Microsoft Antispyware.
 
I found the way to remove admankeep, and it's associated twin dll, is to
restart in 'safe mode no networking' and then uninstall using add/remove. it
tries to connect to the net (hence no networking) but can't (presumable to
inform their servers that you are a live target). It appears to uninstall
ok. If you check registry
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" it should
have gone from there. I then Restart normally and all appears to be well. I
hope Microsoft add this one to the list soon as it is a real nuisance. If
you end it's process in task manager it instances it's twin and will
continue to do this. I have recently sent in a report so hope it helps sort
this out.
(Messing with your registry without knowing what you are doing is stupid so
don't do it---or something like that)

Thanks Matthew! The behavior you mention probably qualifies this program
for listing and removal by Microsoft Antispyware.

I hope that your report here, and submission, will help the process involved
in making that happen.
