Chkdsk from xp's recovery console continues to find errors
in the volume when I use the /p switch. For more info on my
dilemma please refer to the threads in: Chkdsk Continues to Find Errors,
in this newsgroup.
So far I've changed my hard drive and the next idea is my mother board.
One thing I haven't tried: Someone suggested underclocking.
I know this setting is in my bios but what setting, exactly am I looking
for??
Please elaborate.
It will be appreciated.
One quick question. Can unplugging the computer while xp is up and running
cause this or any other type of hardware or software damage?
Again, any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
James
