What does it mean when it says a program is under
investigation after it finds spyware such as Kazaa?

Can you post the wording? I haven't seen a detection of Kazaa under build
..509, and I don't know what it is now saying.

Use of Ctrl-A, and right-click copy, and then paste, may work.

Bill, with latest definitions this word is used.

For example Kazaa gives this. Install it and run scan.

Within helpfile there is nothing about "Investigation".

Maybe a new 5$ definition.......? ;)

Well, it is Peer to Peer software, and those programs are known as a harbour
for spyware and viruses so it is just being suspicious of usual routes of
infestations.

ok this is what is says word for word under the "Spyware
Threats" selection...

KaZaA
Type: Under Investigation
Threat Level: Moderate
Author: Sharman Networks Ltd.

Description: KaAaA is a peer-to-peer file sharing
software that displays adware advertising and installs
third party adware software on your computer.

Advice: This is a low risk application and will not cause
direct harm to your computer, removing it is not
required. However, it is strongly recommended that you
review this application's End User License Agreement
(EULA) as well as review the application's privacy
policies...

Thanks! One of the things mentioned in the release of the new version was
that the "type" section had been expanded.

I guess they haven't decided on the final categorization of some items yet.
