Undelete tex files

Hi,
I'm searching for an undelete utility to recover some .tex files.
The undelete utilities I found on pricelessware.org (PCInspector &
Drive Rescue) don't seem to support this extension.
Any good advice?

Do not use the PC more than absolutely nescessary
so that deleted files are not overwritten

So, on another PC, download

Put the program on a floppy, and run the program from there:

Restoration
Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin by mistake.

I tried restoration.exe
It does half the job since it finds and restore the relevant ".tex"
files, but when I try to open them using notepad they do not appear
like valid .tex files (AASCI files) and their content is meaningless.
