Unclear Program Error Message

I get the following message everytime I boot my Windows
2000 system. Highly frustrating because it does not tell
me which program causes the error. Has anyone seen this
before?

PROGRAM ERROR
<Process has already exited> has generated errors and will
need to be closed by Windows. You will need to restart
the program.

An error log has been created. [OK]

What error log is it referring to? Apparently, what is
supposed to be inside those < > brackets is the name of
the program that exited but nothing shows up
except "Process has already exited." Help, please!

Use tip 2620 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com to manage what
starts so you can track it down.

I would start by disabling the startup folder, then the registry run key, and
finally, if you haven't found it yet, 3rd party services.
