I have MS antispyware and it is picking this up and I
can't seem to get rid of it. I have tried everything that
I could and I can't seem to figure it out. I cant change
any of my setting in the control panel since I have
gotten this spyware. If anyone has any idea please let me
know A.S.A.P. ...........And also is it severe, and can
I still use my computer without it damaging anything.

Thanks All

There was a recent false positive for this trojan involving files related to
the ATI Catalyst video drivers, This false positive was resolved several
definition sets ago, though.

If you are in doubt about this, please post your current definition levels
and program version--see Help, about--and the precise items detected.

1) Please submit a tools, suspected spyware report from Microsoft
Antispyware. Describe what you are seeing. If this report can't be
submitted, due to a proxy error message, don't worry about troubleshooting
it, it's a bug.

2) Update definitions in both Microsoft Antispyware and your antivirus
(file, check for updates)

3) Try restarting Windows in safe mode by pressing the f8 function key
before the first Windows screen appears, and doing full, deep scans with
Microsoft Antispyware and scans with your antivirus, until a full scan of
each comes through clean.

Steps to take if you have spyware that is not removed by
Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (beta)
1) Open up AntiSpyware
2) Click Tools at the top
3) Click "Submit a Suspected Spyware Report"
4) Fill out the form with as much detail so we can analyze
quickly

By doing these steps before trying something new, you make
the product better.

Thanks again for testing the betª!!!!

Generally, in a case where the item is identified, but not
properly removed, the next steps are:

1) Update both Microsoft Antispyware and your antivirus
application.
2) Restart in safe mode by pressing the F8 function key
before the first Windows screen appears at startup.
3) Do full deep scans with Microsoft Antispyware. Repeat
scanning until a complete scan comes through clean. Ditto
with the antivirus.

This isn't guaranteed, but it works for a great many items
that at first appear not to be cleaned in normal mºde.

If it does not, I believe that a trial download of Ewido
Security Suite will
take care of this one:

You may need to scan twice with a reboot in between.

Hi.
Try using hijack this and cwshredder.
Both of them are freeware.
Also look inside the registry for any suspicious entries
if you feel comfortable doing this.
