What means "unbuffered" in term "unbuffered DDR400 DIMM"? Are there any
"buffered DDR400 DIMMs"?

In RAM terms, the opposite of 'buffered' is 'registered'. The following

Regular memory, used in 95% of SOHO PCs. IOW, nothing stands between
memory chips and NB.

I don't think so. There are Registrated DDRs, but last buffered memories I
saw were ones on old P6 with _huge_ EDO modules.
