Unauthorized "incoming connection"???

This is an extension of a problem I posted about 24 hours
ago titled "Parallel connection established, cannot see
host files".

I have two XP Pro PCs, which I am trying to connect using
DCC via a parallel cable so that I can transfer files from
one to the other. I have used the Network Connection
Wizard to set up one as a host and the other as a client.
On the host, a network connection named "incoming
connection" appears; on the client, a connection with the
name of the host PC appears. When I double-click on the
client's network connection, an icon appears in the bottom
right of each PC indicating that a connection has been
established. All of this seems fine.

However, once this connection has been established, on the
host PC there is a new entry in the networking folder
named "Unauthorized User" or something to that effect. In
addition, I am unable to map the host to a drive on the
client. I think these two problems are related.

Why is the connection "unauthorized"? I have enabled file
sharing for all users for the host drives/directories I
want to copy over. I have also created a new user account
on the host with administrator privileges, which I am
logging into from the client when I make the connection.

Please help. This cannot be that difficult. Thanks.
