Unauthorize DHCP

i have a weird problem. (win2K3 servers) I am moving dhcp fom server A to
server B. i have successfully exported and imported DHCP data fom one to the
other. I have authorised Server B and tried to unauthorise Server A. When i
do this i get a 'Parameter in incorrect' error. A the moment i have both
Serve A and Serve B as Authorised DHCP servers. One thing i notice though,
when i go to the menu to 'add server' in the DHCP console from the list of
DHCP servers, I see the name of the new server and the name of the old-old
dhcp server prior to the current one, they have the same IP address.

Maybe something weird hapened when i transferred DHCP from the older server
to Server A some time ago. it seems that in AD that there is match up of
older server name to current ip address.

My question is, how do i get the Server A removed as an Authorised DHCP
server when there seems to be some name confilct. Can i do this manually
through adsiEdit or something. Alsois there any issue having 2 Authorised
DHCP server on the same LAN.

Thanks in advance

I managed to sort it out i used the netsh command to manually remove
(unauthorize) the old server. Now clients are contacting the new DHCP server.

I had the same problem which appeared to be caused by a change to the
server´s FQDN since being authorized.
