Microsoft Windows Corporate Deployment Tools User's Guide
(deploy.chm) has a help topic titled "Preinstalling Hotfixes"
that describes the procedure.
You can find deploy.chm in the Support\Tools\deploy.cab on the
Windows XP Professional CD (same folder on the Windows 2000 CD,
and as one of the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools). You
can use Windows Explorer or you can run the Extract.exe command
to extract and view the Deploy.chm file.
