Simple W2K PC question. Under my Disk Mgr when I choose
to "Create Partion" for my Unallocated space my only
choice is to make it a Primary. I want to make the
Unallocated space either logical or extended, any help
would be great!

Note: Drive is formated "BASIC" and all Volumes are
NFTFS. I currenlty have 1 Primary drive and 1 Logical
drive both of which are NTFS.

A million thanks
John

You can only have one extended partition per physical disk, so if you
are not being given the option, you must already have an extended
partition. Your options are to extend that already existing extended
partition w/ a 3rd party tool, like Parition Magic, or, backup the
contents of the extended partition (all logical volumes in said extended
partition), delete the extended partitions and all of it's contained
logical volumes, recreate the extended partition, including all of the
unused space, recreate logical volumes, and restore.
