Recently, I fried my motherboard and had to replace it.
After getting everything put back together and re-
installing Windows XP, I noticed somehow that my 20GB hard
drive was now only 2 GB. In looking under the "computer
management" utility, I saw that my "C:" drive was there
and showing only 2 GB of space with an "unallocated space"
of 18 GB sitting right next to it. The CPU recognizes the
space but for some reason, it is shown as "unallocated."
I've never had to partition a hard drive or anything like
that so I don't have a clue what to do. I don't want to
partition any of the space, I just want it to be one big
space like it always was on my "C:" drive. On the current
2 GB space, the only thing installed is pretty much
Windows. There's not much room for anything else. Can
anyone help? I feel like I'm a little out of my league on
this one. Thanks!
