Hello,
I have 2 xp desktops ( I will name them A&B for explanation purposes) and a
Vista notebook
Currently xp(a) can access files and folders on xp(b) and the vista
notebook.The xp(b) can access files on the vista notebook.The Vista notebook
can access files on xp(b).
The problem is that xp(b) and the vista notebook Can't access files on
xp(a)although I can see the computer.When attempting to access xp(a) I get
\\computer is not accessible.You might not have permission to use this
network resource.Contact the administratior of this server to find out if you
have access permissions. Access is denied.
Workgroup names are the same,I can ping xp(a) from the other computers,I
have set several folders to share on xp(a) right click,,etc.
xp(a)(is connected to router at port).
xp(b) is wireless as is the vista notebook
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated
