Hi ,

Has anyone read below article before ?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299590

OUr side is having the same issue and after read the article . Seem like all
the workaround solution is not approriate.

How come microsoft just can't solve the problem because owner should able to
modify his own appoiment.

The owner is the delegate who created the meeting, not the manager who is
listed as the meeting organizer. IMHO, this is correct since the delegate
created the item on behalf of the manager.

What is not appropriate about giving editor rights to those who need them?

Hmm ... may be i explain my scenario:

My boss has delegate the calendar right to his secretary . One day secretary
help her boss to book one appointment and meeting room as resources.

Then if the boss want to change the appointment time himself. He will unable
to do so . (Logically , this appointment was create in my boss calendar . Why
he can't change it own calendar appointment ? )

As per workaround solution suggest is to give editor rights in resourse
meeting room . But if we give default rights as editor in resources , users
can change other users appointment which may lead more issues.

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
