Unable to view Property Details on a Query

Service Pack 2 was loaded onto our computer systems and it has taken away the
visibility of the property details on a query. Would anybody know about
viewing them without having to right click and actually going into the object
properties? We want them to show under the Date Created and Date Modified
under the Navigation pane. It is not an Option for us to remove Service Pack
2.
 
Hi Jenn,

If you right-click on the "All Access Objects" label, and then select View
By > Details, I think you will see the missing properties again.

Note: It is always best to include the version of Access that you are using.
I surmised the version as Access 2007, from your reference to the Navigation
pain, but it's always best to avoid any ambiguity.

Thanks Tom for your response. Yes it is Access 2007 that I am using and we
are running Window's XP Professional. We tried your suggestion and that does
not work. We are thinking it has something to do with Windows Service Pack 2
that was loaded on to our PC's. We tried taking the Window's Service Pack off
of one computer, and when we did that it showed the Object Properties. Due
to the security that the Service pack has, we have to load it back onto the
computers, and it is not an option to take it off.

Do you know of anything else we can try?
 
Hi Jenn,

I do not have an XP machine at the present time with Office 2007 installed
on it--my current XP machines--both home and work--have Office 2003
installed. I'll try to remember to ask a co-worker at work tomorrow who is
running XP SP-2 with Office 2007.

Hi Jenn,

I think I found the answer....try installing hotfix 973405 after installing
SP-2. I probably did this a while back, but had forgotten about it.

Issues that this hotfix package fixes includes the following:

After you apply 2007 Office system Service Pack 2, the description of an
object does not appear in the Navigation Pane in Access 2007. This problem
occurs when the Navigation Pane is viewed by Details.
