I have two laser printers with about 9 computers connected to each of them
in a workgroup fashion. The two printers are hooked up to my network and is
assigned an static IP address. All of the computers can print to the
printers with no problems. However, me being the administrator for the lab,
I want to see the print jobs that goes to each printer because the regular
users are only allowed to print no more than 25 pages. My computer is
connected to both the printers as well and can print to them with no
problems.
The problem is when I open up the print queue for either printers on my own
computer, I can't see the print jobs for either one. Back then when I had
the two printers hooked up to a regular computer acting as a print server, I
didn't come across this problem. Now that the printers are hooked up to the
network, I can't view any print jobs EXCEPT for my own when I print to them
on my own computer.
I made sure that I have I have administrative rights to the printer and that
I have the permission to Print, Manage Printers, and Manage Documents while
all the other computers just have the Print permission assigned. Please, any
help would be greatly appreciated as I am about to hook them back up the old
fashion way.
TIA
