Hi,
First, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)
Then, McAfee Privacy Service has caused this problem. Disable it, if
running.
Disable, as a test, third-party security, privacy, ad-blocking programs. One
of them may be causing this. Once you find the guilty party, try changing
settings.
Turn on the windows Firewall (Control Panel> Windows Firewall) and disable
(as a test) your third-party firewall.
The images at
www.btylanehome.com are coming from images.redcatusa.com. Try
placing *.brylanehome.com and *.redcatusa.com in Trusted Sites. From
Internet Options> Security> Trusted Sites> Sites> uncheck "Require server
verification (https
for all sites" then add (for example) "
*.redcatusa.com " (without the quotes) to this zone.
Make sure that a security program hasn't placed either of these sites in the
HOSTS
file.
To check the HOSTS file in Windows XP...
Make sure that Windows is showing hidden files and is
not hiding file extensions for known file types then check for a HOSTS file
at [C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc] Open the HOSTS file with notepad. If
there are entries you wish to disable, you can put the pound sign (#) in
front an entry to disable it. Then File> Save. Or you can rename the HOSTS
file to HOSTS.OLD to disable it.
