Unable to View Picture or Video attachments received in Outlook 2003

Help. I posted on 3/18 and still cannot solve why picture (jpg) and video
(wmv) attachments will not open when received on my son's computer. I get
"drawing failed" when trying to open jpg and "file corrupted" when trying to
open the wmv. I deleted my the partitions and installed XP Pro, Office 2003
Pro, Norton AV and still have the same problem. Any advice would be
appreciated. Thank you, Bill

When you save them to disk can you open them?
 
Thank you for responding. No, they remained corrupted, but I did figure out
the cause. It was a conflict between Content Protect which is on my son's
computer for web filtering and Norton AV which scans email. I set Content
Protect so it would not look at Outlook and Norton, though it was probably
interfering with just Norton. Thanks again for the reply. Best regards.
