Unable to view inbox email after resetting outlook defaults.

Outlook 2003: I get an icon flash indicating reciept of mail which are not
visible in the inbox. My original goal was to reset everything back to the
default setting. This problem started after I used the reinstall wizard in
the help section. I am able to send without incidence. Where oh where have my
inbound emails gone??? I know there hiding somewhere!

Did you by chance create a new PST? If so, they may be in the old one.
Look in
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook in Windows
XP and in
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook for Vista.
