unable to view folders with zip files......

when i try to view a folder with containing .zip files on the c drive ,
explorer locks up and errors out.....

any recommendations?....

I would recommend installing an archiving program that supports zip format.
Support for zip files in Vista is rather elementary, for example it doesn't
support multipart zip archives.

I personally use winrar from http://www.rarlab.com/
 
ya use some another 3rd party zip utility for accessing those zip archives
and there might be one other reason also in not opening of those folder in
c:\ as zip folders are potentially most highly used packets for delivering
viruses and trojans, so this might be also the one problem, just copy it
another drive and then check...
