d am new to Vista.. I want to get into the cookies folder and the temp inet
files and keep getting a response that the folde3r is not available and
access is denied. I have administrator rights. I have studies all the
attributes in advanced security and am getting nowhere? Further,l I cannot
access my own documents folder. I get the same response. What is the arrow
on the folder that gradually tips to the upper right? I used to see this
when putting an other icon on the desktop of XP..

While I am at it, how do I log in as a pure administrator? I used to use
the change the way users log onto the system. I do not see that option now
and Administrator does not show in the users of the computer.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

Your account is a pure administrator. The built-in "administrator" account
is disabled in Vista, as it's not really necessary.

Many locations in Windows Vista have been moved or renamed since Windows
XP - you are seeing the "ghosts" of these old locations that are left behind
to make certain programs work, since you enabled the showing of hidden
files.

You need to use the new locations instead.

To find out where the folder you are trying to access has been moved to, see
my website:
