Hello,
I am using Windows XP SP-1. All of a sudden my volume control is missing
from the system tray.
I went through the Control Panel, selected "sounds" and checked the box to
place the volume control in the tray. I received an error message telling me
that the "volume control program is not installed. Please install it using
Add/Remove in the Control Panel."
I have tried that with no luck. I've even tried several System restores with
no change.
Additionally, my "Paint" program is missing from the Accessories panel.
Any suggestions on how to fix this. Is there a registry change possible?
Thank you for any help possible.
Robert
