I've been able to setup a remote desktop connection to my Home PC from the
internet with no problem (using NAT), but I'm unable to use remote
assistance. I have made sure the correct port was open and even stop the
firewall service with no luck. I sent an invitation through my outlook to my
hotmail account and then downloaded the RCBUDDY to my desktop, but when I try
I get a failure message: "Remote Assistance could not be established because
the remote host name could not be resolved. Please try again." Is Remote
Assistance using name resolution instead of IP? if so is there a way to
change that, or am I looking in the wrong area?
