UNABLE TO USE OUTLOOK 2000 WITH BT INTERNET

I have been anable to use Outlook since changing to btinternet broadband.
Can anyone assist? Outlook was fine before, I'm now having to use outlook
express.
 
Hi,

Since the email works in Outlook Express, we will try importing the account
settings from Outlook Express into Outlook.

Open Outlook and go to Tools>E-Mail accounts>Next> and remove the existing
account in the box.Click Finish.

Then in Outlook, click on File>Import and Export>Import Internet Account
Settings>
Outlook Express> and import the settings from Outlook Express.
Close and restart Outlook.

By the way, do mention what version of Outlook we are working on and any
error messages in Outlook when you try to send/recv emails, if the above
method fails. :)

Wats the error message you get when you try send/recv in Outlook. what
version of Outlook are we working on?
