Unable to update the dependencies of the project

I get this message when i try to rebuild a installer:

Unable to update the dependencies of the project. The dependencies for the
object 'dotnetfxredist_x86.msm' cannot be determined.

This is the third time i've had this happen to me. The previous times i
deleted the installer project and re-created it. Is there a easier way?
