I am running Windows Xp, and I went to control panel>>add
remove programs>>remove window components then I checked
off Internet Expolrer and then hit Next after it said it
was done with the configuration I saw that Internet
Explorer was still installed and that I could still run
it......any ideas? Please.

BriGuy,

It's not possible to uninstall IE from WinXP. The Add/Remove programs just removes the shortcuts to Internet Explorer. You can still run iexplore.exe to launch IE.
