I have had several cases over the past year or two where I was trying to edit
old Excel spreadsheets that were created by other people and I could not
unhide the top row or rows of data.
I can go to individual cells in the hidden rows and see that there is data.
I have even been able to select all of the cells in a hidden row, but using
unhide does not work. I have tried to cut and paste the row down below, but
when I do that the top row or rows of visible data dissapear (get moved up
into the hidden row or rows).
Selecting the whole worksheet and going to unhide does not work.
I work with Excel a great deal, and normally can resolve any problem I come
across, but this one has stumped me. My work around for this is to create a
new worksheet and copy everything over. Even the hidden rows show up normally
on the new worksheet.
I am using Excel 2003 SP2 on a company computer.
