Unable to sync from outlook to window live mail (hotmail)

I deleted all my contacts in outlook and resynced with hotmail so that I
would have "0" contacts

I then imported the list of contacts (CSV) into outlook. Now outlook and
hotmail are not syncing correctly.

I created a test contact in hotmail and it syncs with outlook but the rest
of my contacts are not syncing.

Is anyone experiencing similar problems?

In a way I'm not surprised. Importing is always problematic. Can you import
them into Hotmail via the web interface? If so, do they populate to Outlook?

Yes, import them on people.live.com!

Hotmail - Outlook Exp

I am also facing problems in sync the hotmail account with my outlook express. It is not working for almost two months. Here is the error message I am getting:

Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: (e-mail address removed), Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Forbidden', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 998, Error Number: 0x800CCC33
