I am getting the following error message
"Unable to start application because DacCom is not installed properly"
Plz reinstall.

HOw to recitfy it .

hi, this might be very late but useful for some other people.
after spending a lot of time, i was able to partially resolve the problem by registering msdtcuiu.dll in windows server 2003
now i m able to open dcomcnfg except com+ applications which gives an error "8004e00f- com+ was unable to talk to the mtdc" any further help wud be appreciated.
 
error code 8004E00F-COM+ was unable to talk to the microsoft Distributed
Transaction Coordinator
checked and found that distributed transaction coordinator service was missing
searched and got it back by running msdtc -install from command prompt
hope it helps others facing the same problem :)
