Unable to send

-- Even the windows mail group has not been working. This is a last ditch
effort. I started all over and now I cannot send anything.

Unless you provide more details, we can't help you.
Do you get an error message when you try to send ? If so, right-click
on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.

If your problem is with a Gmail account, make sure your settings agree with this:

Gmail POP3 account:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=86383

Gmail IMAP account:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=77696
