Unable to send messages through Perfmon

HI,
We are configuring the Performance Monitor to monitor the disk space as well
as CPU usage on our servers in the domain.
The service is running under the domain administrator account and we are
able to configure all the alerts that we need for our use.
We have a small VB script that sends out emails. When we use this script at
the command prompt - it works fine and we can receive the emails. However
when we use the same script under the performance monitor Action tab it does
not send out the emails.
Does anyone have a clue as to what we might be missing in the setup that is
not properly configured. We have the Alerter service as well as the Messenger
service running on the computer where the performance monitor is being run.

you must assign "log on as batch job" to the admin account
you can do that by
admin tools / local security settings / local policies / user rights / logon
as a batch job

Hi Mahmoud,
Thanks for the reply. However that is already the case. The admin account
does have the "log on as a batch job" privilege.
