After I've got my DSL and networking, I'm not able to
send out e-mails from Outlook. I get an error message.

I didn't have this problem when I was using dial-up.
I've tried to seek help from linksys' tech support and
also my ISP( Yahoo sbc DSL) but I had no luck getting a
solution.

I've tried to disabled firewall and my MTU is set right
so I don't know what the problem is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hello

Your ISP should provide you with the correct mail settings
for Outlook, I have DSL by Yahoo and my Outlook works
great for the past 3 years. Contact your provider and have
them tell you what your correct mail settings are ok.

When you were using dialup you more than likely using a
different outgoing mail server than you do with the new
DSL. Double check the SMTP mail server setting. You also
should have received email server instructions when you
had the DSL installed telling you what your SMTP and POP3
mail servers are going to be and the user accounts. Did
you get a new email address? What is the error message you
receive?

Thanks for your reply.

All my settings are correct and this is what I got when I
sent out an e-mail. error: 553 sorry, that domain isn't
in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

Did you remember to update the reply-to address and email address, in
addition to changing the server settings? It sounds like the mail server
you are trying to send mail through doesn't like the email address it thinks
you are sending from.
