Unable to see other computers but they see me

M

Matt

Here is the Deal:

Hub has 3 workgroups. Computer A sees all 3 workgroups
and everyone on them. Computer B sees all 3 workgroups
but only itself on its workgroup and not computer A (even
though computer A sees computer B and computer B sees
everyone on the other workgroups.)

I have tried to reset up the network in windows and had
no luck. Computer A is not running a firewall (neither is
B). I even tried renaming the workgroup on both A & B
and same result.

Any Thoughts?

None of these worked, any other suggestions?

Matt,

that would be very interesting, because so far the list appears
to be complete. I've had some cases though where people wrote
they had checked everything, but in fact hadn't.

If you find any other cause that's not yet in my list, I'd be
very grateful if you could let me know. There surely must be a
few, but they seem to be rare.

In other words, sorry, no, I have no other suggestions.
