Unable to see network connections after system rebuild

I had to wipe one of the w2k systems, reinstalled os with
patches, after which tried to install a printer, started
by using the wizard, clicked on the computer that has the
printers attached and nothing was available. Same with
mapping a drive, clicked on the server and nothing.

What is the world is going on?

Check your WINS, DNS configuration
