unable to save themes

Im not sure what happened, but for some reason, I cant save
themes in Display Properties. I click save as, type in a
name, and click save, but it doesnt save it, no matter
where I choose to save it.

Yeah, I have that problem as well and have asked about it
twice but no one is interested in showing off and helping
with this.

....or there is no good answer. I've never been able to get it to work nor
have I seen any posts from folks that have managed to do so. My suspicion
is that this was a planned feature that got axed for the final release.
Leaving the Save As.. button in that screen may have been an oversight or
perhaps MS thought they might implement it in the future.

PS: I have two computers. On the one with StylesXP installed, Save As
appears to work. A *.theme file is created when Save As is used and can be
reloaded.
 
again sharon f. learns something new....!!!!!

the only way to keep my theme set as customized is using
the [save as] button. so far i have 7 different themes
for each day of week.

You know what they say about "when you stop learning"?
I would rather keep learning than the alternative ;)
 
the exact reason i spend at least a few hours a week
reading these posts. usually while listening to komando
radio show on saturday. then reading kk's newsletter.
this week got free time on sunday. dallas at new england
tonight. big bill against little bill.

It worked before, but it doesnt now.
