I work on a quite big doucment (450 slides and it's not
finished). There are a lot of hyperlinks in the document
(to other pages, other documents...). At that time, I'm
not able to add other hyperlinks. They are not saved when
I save & opent the software. Do you know if there is a
theoritical limit for the size of a document or number of
links ?

You haven't mentioned the PowerPoint version you are using. In version prior
to XP, the hyperlinks information are stored in a 64kb storage space within
the document, most of which is already taken up by PPT to store file
properties etc. Hence
there is a limit to the number of links that can be created within the
presentation which is dependent on the available space. Once exceeded, links
do tend to go for a toss.

If your working in other than XP, your probably exceeding the storage space that windows allows (64kb) for storage of all this stuff. It does not take very long for long filenames and hyperlinks to eat up this space.
