unable to save in word.

we just set up a home network, i have altered a file on my main computer from our network, i need to save this file as it is for school, i keep recieving a read only error message and wondering what to do. please please help me.

Hi Cindy,

Try selecting all of the text in the file, except perhaps the final
paragraph mark and copy and paste it into a new document and then try and
save that.
