Hi all
I have searched through some other posts about this same problem and tried
what was suggested and I still get the same error message when adding new
appointments into Outlook 2007...reminders appear at the right time and if I
synch with my pda then info gets transferred over fine. Everything still
works but I just get the annoying message everytime I add in a new
appointment...

I have tried starting outlook 2007 with the outlook /cleanfreebusy switch
and get the erorr/message "Cannot clean your local free/busy information"

On looking at another post then I have tried setting the publish settings to
0 months and 1 minute (1 being the smallest amount of time that is valid).

I have also tried to create a new PST file just in case it was a corruption
somewhere and still get the same message. I am not using MS Exchange, this is
purely a standalone install

Has anyone else managed to solve this issue...its really annoying to get the
error message...apart from that then Outlook runs perfectly...

Thanks for any help anyone can give

Regards
Davidt

You want to publish less often, not more often - use 99 minutes. 0 months
should be fine.
What path are you publishing the F/B to?

Hi Diane
I am not publishing to anywhere, or at least I dont want to more to the
point...its a standalone install on a laptop and there is no server involved
(just pop 3 accounts). Its just an error that keeps coming up when I
installed Outlook 2007.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I am also having the same problem but it is an Outlook 2003 machine. That
message keeps popping up when the user adds a new appointment to the
calendar. I have tried all the suggestions on the various news groups and
nothing has helped. We use SharePoint and this user put the link to the
Sharepoint Calendar on his machine. I suspect that his calendar is trying to
sync with the Sharepoint Calendar but I don't have a clue where to start.
