when i click on windows's update i get the message.
"your current security settings prohibit running AcriveX
control on this page As a result, the page may not display
correctly." I click OK button and it goes backto the same
message again. can you please tell me why this is
happening. thanks.

Open Internet Explorer:

1. Click on Tools from the top menu bar
2. Click on Internet Options in the drop down menu
3. Click on the Security tab
4. Click on the Internet Zone icon
5. To adjust your security level, click Default Level or Custom Level.
6. Try setting the Custom level to Low and see if the ActiveX error persists.
