Dear All,

I am having a problem whereby I am unable to run a REG file which needs to
be run logged on as the domain user in question as it places entries in the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER section. Even when I add the user to local admin group on
the PC and/or backup operators I get no joy. Have even tried making the
user a domain admin temporarily (as it works for us) it still isn't working.

There are no software restrictions in place on any of the GPOs or default
domain policy under User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System.
There also doesn't appear to be any software restrictions in place locally
on the machine.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get round this???

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Regards,

Darren

The account has full control permissions to the file itself.

Any other ideas???

Darren

What error do you get when you run the reg file interactively? Possible the
syntax in the file is wrong.

message? What's the content of the REG file? Is it Unicode or ASCII?
