Todd

Win XP Pro w/ Office 2003 Pro.

I've been using Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5703) for about a month or so with
Exch 5.5 and constantly use right-click for a multitude of functions, mostly
adding mail to junk senders list!

I am suddenly unable to right-click and single item and any folder, although
right-clicking 2 or more works fine. You cannot however, right-click
multiple entries and select junk mail settings.

I just ran reinstall/repair from the CD to no avail. No Office updates are
required. I also ran Adaware 6.0 to ensure there was nothing untoward
affecting Outlook.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Todd.

I ran into the same problem and found the following post on Google(
listed below). I deleted the FRMCACHE.DAT file as suggested and the
problem has been solved.

Recently the ability to right-click in the Inbox just stopped working.
So I went to Microsoft support and found that this is a documented
issue. They recommend deleting the frmcache.dat file. The problem is
that I cannot find the file on my drive. I have tried 'detect and
repair' to no avail. Additionally I tried to find the FRMCACHE.DAT in
the:
.../Local Settings/Application data/Microsoft/FORMS/FRMCACHE.DAT

but on clicking the FORMS file was alerted that the FORMS file had no
extension associated. My question is, if I delete the FORMS file will
it rebuild? Or is there another workaround? I also tried 'Choose Form'
in File->New and it said "Form Load Failed'.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Alan
