Hi!

I use both my laptop (this one) and a main computer. My laptop is fine with
Web pages....I can call up our Newsgroup on my main computer but when I try
to "Sign IN" I am blocked.." Page unavailable...
Do I need to register or get another Passport to use my main compun in ?
If so, how on earth am I expected to do so if the damn machine will not allow
me to get past the "Sign In" stage?
Can someone advise please..............Darcy

This may be caused by some of your
security settings. Might be worth a try to
create a new passport but I'm not certain
that it would help..

Do you happen to use Outlook Express
for your e-mail? Have you considered using
Outlook Express to manage your newsgroup
activity?

If you use Outlook Express....this link should
set it up for you:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsxp.moviemaker

The following links offer more info:

The server for the Microsoft newsgroups is:
msnews.microsoft.com

If by "info" you mean the following:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsxp.moviemaker

All you do is left click it.

OK..I went to the communities website
to check on the link and it's not live.
Soooo, clicking it would not work...
What you can do is copy/paste it into
the address bar of an Internet Explorer
window...then press...Enter.

If you read the articles I posted for you
and follow the instructions you should
be able to set it up.
