As I am new to this community I don't know if I am revisiting an old topic here (a quick search has not revealed any), for which I would of course apologise.
I am using OUTLOOK 2007 with Business Contact Manager on a VISTA ultimate system.
I am in the process of devolving my contacts, in the sense that I want to separate out individual addressees that I had grouped under one name before.
To that end I would like to be able to copy or replicate existing entries, and then edit each of them.
The OUTLOOK help file does give a procedure for that existing in copy/paste using the "business card" or "address card" view.
Unfortunately this does not work with me. Both methods produce an error message stating that this operation is not allowed "in these folders".
I would be grateful of any relevant advice.
