Trying to rename a avi (with unicode characters)
"Cannot rename abc.avi. It is being used by another person or program.
Close any programs that might be using the file and try again"
 
Have you tried renaming whilst in safe mode?

shut down your p2p program if you use one to download files. It is possibly
running in the background and the file is being shared.
