Hi all,

We have a small network and we use Outlook 2003 on a server. We share this
with a third party application called Public Sharefolder. In this way all of
us can use the shared calender and task list. It works fine.
One of us had set some reminders. We found it is impossible to remove the
reminders and everytime when her Outlook starts up, the reminders pop up.
You can remove a reminder but then Outlook says (translated): "Microsoft
Office can not switch off the reminder. Perhaps the reminder may be
repeated. Unable to finish this action. One or more parameters are
incorrect."
After removing these reminders they disappear from the reminder window, but
everytime when Outlook starts, they reappear.

Anyone got an idea how to solve this? I checked Outlook on the server but no
reminders are to be seen there.

Thanks in advance for your ansers.

With kind regards,

Fokke Nauta

Yes, I did with outlook on the person's PC as well as outlook on the server.
Unfortunately to no avail.

I tried /cleanreminders, as well as another switch (/cleanclientrules) bit
it did not work out. The concerning appointments have all been removed but
the reminders keep popping up.

Have you contacted Oliver Vukovics for assistance with this application?

I managed to solve the problem with creating a new userprofile with a new
pst file. Even though Outlook "looks" in the file on the server, via Public
sharefolder, the reminders seemed to be kept it it's own pst file. Renewing
the pst file solved the problem.

Thanks for all your responses.
