My daughter decided to install Bearshare on my computer. After talking to
friends and reading reviews I uninstalled it.
It has left a Folder and file called VVSN in my program files that keeps
trying to access the internet.
When I tried to selete it it tells me access is denied.

I do not want this program on my computer.

In previous times Win 98 I could go to DOS and remove it that way.
There seems to be no way I can access my files outside of Windows. Since the
program appears to have done something to the Registry to lock it in how can
I remove it
Thank you

It would be best to boot into Safe Mode, search for the folder,
then delete it.

BearShare is P2P software and it is a conduit of malware. You may have removed BearShare
but may have malware running in the background and that is what is trying to connect to the
Internet !
