The above worm was received via (MS...) Entourage on a MacOS/X system, and
started mailing itself immediately. Took the box off the net and ran NAV8
(latest virus defs for MacOS), which didn't find anything. Deleted the
offending mails, but Entourage keeps showing the same behavior. No removal
tools for Mac available on Symantec's Security Response, as Mac is not
listed as an affected platform. How do I get rid of it ? Will removing
Entourage be sufficient? Any advice highly appreciated..

Well, I highly suggest getting rid of Entourage anyway, but this virus
can't affect Mac OS X. I'm guessing you're simply seeing a lot of emails
saying that a virus was caught in an outgoing message and telling you
you're infected? You're not. The virus simply masquerades as other people
in the address book, so the infected person sends out messages in other
people's names, including yours. I've been hit with probably close to 100
of these "you're infected" messages so far too.
